Empowering the underprivilged

Our Impact

Niswarth’s activities have so far reached reached out to nearly 2 million people in 290 tea gardens and facilitated with social benefits worth 20 million rupees from the government, Lions Club, Rotary and many more.

Our Training

Niswarth has trained thousands of underprivileged and specially-abled individuals in West Bengal and Assam areas. We have four training locations (Binnaguri, Matigara, Dam Dim, Bagracote) all located in the interior villages of North Bengal 

Our Events

Niswarth conducts several events for the underprivileged and specially-abled to empower them economically as well as education-wise. We believe in encouraging them to learn more use their crafts and skills to make money so that they feel independent and help themselves.


Niswarth’s activities have, so far, reached out to nearly 20 lac (2 million) people in 290 Tea gardens in Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, Coochbehar, Darjeeling, Siliguri districts of West Bengal and Dibrugarh, Tinsukhia, Tejpur, North Bank districts of Assam and neighbouring villages and facilitated social benefits worth over Rs. 2 crores (20 million) from the Government, Lions Club, Rotary, Inner wheel and Round Table clubs, Andrew Yule and Company Limited, Amalgamated Plantation Private Limited (a division of Tata Tea), LR Beralih Social Development Foundation.
