VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE'S
Having spent nearly five decades in Tea Gardens of North Bengal & Assam, we felt strong need to take care of school dropout children and introduced the concept of Vocational Training Centre in the year 2011 (well before our honourable PM Narendra Modi’s Skill India Mission programme started on 15th July, 2015) as part of CSR program of M/S Andrew Yule Tea Company Limited and later expanded to other companies.
- In 2011, under the CSR programme of M/S Andrew Yule Company Ltd( Tea Division),Niswarth started its first Vocational Training centre at Binnaguri town-98 kms from Siliguri where short vocational training courses from 6 months to one year were conducted from 2011- 2015 for the BPL children( school going as well as school drop outs)
In 2015, this centre was moved to another location,25 kms away from Binnaguri, and similar vocational courses were continued till 2019
